A very special Mahalo to Professor Kahana’s son, Daniel, and Keli’i, who traveled all the way from Hawai’i to spend time with our New Life Academy 'Ohana. Their support and hands-on assistance played a huge role in helping our students prepare for the Jiu-Jitsu World League competition.
Having them on the mats brought not only skill and knowledge, but also the spirit of Aloha, encouragement, and dedication that inspires our team to push harder and grow stronger together.
We are truly grateful for the time, energy, and love they poured into our academy during their visit. New Life BJJ is blessed to have such strong family ties that continue to pour into the next generation of students and competitors.

Competition Registration - Students wishing to compete must follow these steps:
Instructor Approval is required before registering for any event. These steps are mandatory for eligibility and proper affiliation. Please contact Professor Kahana if you need assistance.
- Smoothcomp.com create a profile & register under Academy: New Life Jiu-Jitsu Academy - Affiliation: LEAD BJJ.
- IBJJF.com Obtain a valid membership Team: Bruno Bastos Midland/Team LEAD.
- www.jjworldleague.com create a profile and register under New Life BJJ.
