In 1999, Professor Kahana established a club in North Kohala on the Big Island of Hawaii. He earned his Black Belt in 2013 under the guidance of 8-time Jiu-Jitsu World Champion Robson Moura.
Recognized for his exceptional teaching, he was honored as RMNU Teacher of the Year by Professor Robson. Professor Kahana has culminated his career by leading Jiu-Jitsu seminars internationally.
