Professor Kahana Cordeiro is a dedicated father with over 20 years of experience working with children. He has excelled in such roles such as Mentor, Youth Coordinator, Therapeutic Aide, Youth Advocate, Education Assistant, Teacher and Special Education Bus Driver, while also volunteering extensively in schools and the community.

In 1999, Professor Kahana established a club in North Kohala on the Big Island of Hawaii. He earned his Black Belt in 2013 under the guidance of 8-time Jiu Jitsu World Champion Robson Moura.

Recognized for his exceptional teaching, he was honored as RMNU Teacher of the Year by Professor Robson. Professor Kahana has culminated his career by leading Jiu Jitsu seminars internationally.
